Groundswell is our interpretation of the classic British Extra Special Bitter. It presents with an amber-copper color and a fine, compact foam cap; on the nose, floral and slightly fruity scents are accompanied by the herbal bitterness of English hops. The taste is intense, tending towards sweetness with slight tones of hazelnut and ripe fruit. The body is medium, the carbonation very light, and a very pleasant silky tactile sensation is experienced. The long finish is predominantly marked by herbal bitterness followed by malty notes.
